I started running recreaionally 3 years ago and have done over a dozen marathons most as endurance running and to stay fit.

HM 1:52;55
M 4:26:13
50K 5:18:01
65 KM 8:19;21 on the treadmill with 5,232 ft of elevation
I am inconsistent and constantly need buddies to keep me motivated, but due to the nature of my job I do most of my running on the TM.
After about 13-15 miles I stop frequently to check my blood sugar and adjust my drinks and pace, consequently my timing gets slower. Short-Term Running Goals: Would like to improve my speed endurance. Long-Term Running Goals: QB and medal at the Comrades ultramarathon in South Africa. Personal: Married and empty nested. Working as a univ professor. |
